Carer A 160/1200 S: expanding the range with enhanced manouverabilty
Carer Forklift, the leader in electric forklift production, is expanding with the AS line with the A 160/1200 S: a solution with an elevated centre of gravity designed for high-level material handling.
The AS line achieved significant commercial success thanks to its wide range, reliability, and capacity to replace a large number of diesel vehicles, with a load capacity ranging from 14 to 16 tons. However, the felxibility of Carer's engineering proposals relies on a continuous pursuit of excellence, driven by market opportunities and feedback. This is where The Carer A 160/1200 S comes into play, a project that extends the range through a classic engineering solution: raising the center of gravity.
A 160/1200 S features a different design solution compared to other machines in the range. In fact, a larger battery with 12 plates has been added, allowing the machine to be equipped with a 96V and 2064Ah battery. This solution provides extended autonomy to meet the needs of continuous work shifts without compromising zero emissions, zero noise, and the cost control of a full electric power supply.
In addition, the Carer A 160/1200 S boasts another important characteristic. It is equipped with paired superelastic tires - a feature present in all other A140/160S versions as well - which ensure that the forklift maintains its rated load capacity while offering enhanced compactness. This results in a performance in line with the requirements of the market as well as in ergonomic features that make it an ideal solution for handling scenarios where loads are compact but extremely heavy, such as those encountered in the steel industry or logistic sector.
