A new A-line range coming soon: Carer Forklift's "lightweights” don't fear narrow spaces

In spring 2023 Carer is preparing to launch a range of ultra-compact machines designed for sheer indoor use. In today's article we offer some previews.

in large industrial plants, interports, logistics hubs, and airports where space is limited, electric forklifts with high capacity and compact size are commonly used for handling operations. These environments provide opportunities for innovative solutions using electric forklifts, which can offer the same performance as traditional models while also providing benefits such as zero noise and emissions and cost savings.

After careful engineering assessments, Carer's technical management has realized that broadening the indoor offering with ultra-compact and handy solutions will be one of the big strategic keys for the near future.
This is precisely why a new series of "lightweights" is currently in the prototype phase at the Cotignola headquarters: January and February will be the decisive months for the engineering of a range of the A series with capacities from 5 t to 7 t, for a breakthrough expected in spring, with a launch that we will tell you about through our communication channels.

Handy and compact, these machines will enable complex maneuvers in tight spaces. The optimization resarch on the the battery will result in excellent performance despite the trucks very small size. Designed for lead-acid battery power, they will be equipped with a "ready to ion” module, in order to later accommodate lithium-ion batteries. All engineering research has been aimed at allowing the smallest turning radius for the product category: 2,500 mm. The extreme compactness of the machine will not impact the comfort of the operator, always at the center of Carer Forklift's R&D work, who will enjoy maximum visibility thanks to a traditional mast.
