KLM: “Carer guarantees extreme flexibility, complete customisation and great performances”

A polyfunctional machine, with high performances in any kind of space and completely adapted to the customer’s needs. This is what Carer realised for the world-famous air carrier KLM: our good work was then confirmed by the renewal of their machine stock.

KLM is the Netherlands’ flag carrier: each year its airplanes move more than 25 million passengers and 750 thousand tons of cargo. Carer has been a long-time partner for KLM and it recently renewed the machine stock of the company’s facilities at the Amsterdam-Schiphol airport, providing fifty new Z25HD forklift trucks.

The forklift trucks have a 2,5 ton capacity and a double lift height (4 and 7 metres), but also boast a high traction capacity and are projected to guarantee high-level performances both in hoisting and in towing. This, though, isn’t the only adaptation our SPED (Special Products Equipment Department) made to satisfy the customer’s requests: the machines can also integrate KLM’s automatic lateral battery-extraction system.

The machines we provided KLM with are characterised by their extremely compact frame, which allows them to work efficiently in the Cargo Area, moving with ease both outdoor and indoor, in narrow rack aisles.
