An innovative charging process for reduced energy waste and longer battery life
Enhancing charging efficiency and battery life, reducing energetic expenditure: Carer opts for the new Ri charging process.
Carer confirmed its attention for the development of new solutions and for energy saving by opting for the new internal resistance (Ri) charging technology.
While the common charging processes through 50 Hz transformer are not capable to control the real state of the battery, the Ri charging process can adapt the charging profile to the effective needs of the battery.
The charging profile is adapted to the battery’s internal resistance, which is determined by its individual characteristics (age, temperature, charging state). This innovative process avoids overcharging and overheating, enhancing the efficiency of the charging process, avoiding dissipation and allowing for a longer battery life. The Ri charging process can also shrink charging time in case the battery isn’t completely out of power.
