The H² updates of the Carer electric trucks: higher performance associated with greater autonomy
Here are all the secrets of the latest update of the Z 60-80H2, Z 80@900-100H2 and F 60-90H2 trucks, developed by Carer starting in some cases from the technological innovations experienced in recent years on the corresponding HD2 versions: a further demonstration of Carer's constant commitment to providing its customers with reliable and performing machines, at highly competitive prices.
Faithful to its founding choice to encourage technological renewal in material handling, Carer is launching a further update of the Z 60-80H2, Z 80@900-100H2 and F 60-90H2 electric forklift trucks in recent weeks.
The first updated models of the Z 60-80H2 and Z 80@900-100H2 trucks are already on delivery, a series that has helped to create the history of Carer: born in the late nineties with direct current motors, with the transition from motorization AC electric motors underwent their first technical restyling in 2013. Today, after 7 years, the machines in this series have been further renewed, leaving intact the characteristics that made them appreciated all over the world: they have in fact remained unchanged the size, ergonomics, position of the driving position, visibility and location of the battery. The main innovations concern the traction unit: instead of the previous single-engine, with classic differential, they now have a more efficient, twin-engine and electronic differential model. A step that allows you to improve the performance of the machine, with brighter performance, a significant increase in autonomy (although the battery has remained identical) and greater reliability. Another aspect to highlight concerns ergonomics and operational safety, given that, thanks to the update, the operator finds himself working with a quieter and more comfortable machine.
Important innovations also derive from the optimization of the arrangement of the components at the hydraulic level, with the transition from metric to ORFS fittings, with flat-face seals, which guarantee better sealing of the fluids and reduce the risk of possible oil leaks in long periods of use of the trucks: a circuitry standard considered to be of the highest level among all manufacturers globally. Lastly, all these modifications have been introduced keeping the price of the trucks unchanged: in this way, customers will have a more performing vehicle at the same cost than the previous version.
Without forgetting that the use of the same type of batteries adds an additional great advantage for customers, who can thus continue to use those already purchased for previous models. An aspect that also affects the updating of the F 60-90H2 series, for which the batteries of the HD2 version have been maintained, the abbreviation that identifies the high-performance trucks, which is also approached for numerous other aspects, such as the chassis. To all intents and purposes, the new F 60-90H2 is the entry-level version of the HD: compared to its older brother, it differs in some aspects of the components and the accessories supplied.
The update, for example, has a single lifting motor, more efficient and reliable, which allows all movements to be carried out easily with performances that are in any case remarkable for customers who do not have particular performance requirements and therefore represents a valid option, with an advantageous price-quality ratio.
