Glass movement: comfort for the driver, low-emissions and optimised manouevering
Carer electric forklift trucks are the ideal choice also in the movement of glass, thanks to their versatility and customisability.
Carer, thanks to its ability in building versatile and customisable electric forklift trucks, is the best choice to answer the needs of material movement in any sector. One example is the movement of glass, a sector for which Carer developed its Z70H forklift truck.
This machine’s main characteristic is its capacity: up to 7 tons, a capacity generally only covered by diesel forklifts. Electric engines allow for low emissions, lower acoustic pollution and less vibrations, enhancing the operator’s comfort and diminishing potential health harms. Compared to a diesel truck, the electric engine also allows for a “Stop&Go” use, by stopping in pauses and turning immediately back on without any energy waste.
The battery can be changed easily and quickly, in order to optimise working time and keep the forklift fully operational, even on prolonged work-cycles. Thanks to its super-elastic tyring, the forklift can operate without any problem both indoor (storage aisles) and outdoor (loading areas).
The Z70H forklift truck has a compact build, which makes manouevering easier and quicker. Its high seat and rear view monitor were studied to enhance visibility and safety for the operator, while the peculiar configuration of the mast allows for quicker loading and unloading, as up to six pallets can be lifted at the same time.
